Want to support a family in a mountainous region of South Asia through helping homeschool their kids?
A family in South Asia is looking for someone to spend a few hours a day, 5 days a week, with their 3 children (ages 6, 7, and 10) helping them through their homeschool curriculum. This will free the parents for more effective language learning and local ministry, and will help the entire team minister more effectively in their area. The homeschool helper would be considered a full-fledged member of the ministry team, participating in worship times and accountability. Other ministry opportunities will arise and could be pursued in addition to helping with the children.
The family are open to a male or female. Accommodation is available with an existing team member (or separately) if the candidate is female. If the candidate is male, the team will assist him in finding accommodation. The homeschool helper is needed for any length of time between now and Autumn of 2020. No teaching experience is strictly necessary.
The team is currently made up of 3 young families and a single woman.
