If you’re interested in engaging unreached people, but don’t know where to start, then this trip is the perfect place for you to get your feet wet.
Within our city, you can experience the haunting sounds of the Islamic call to prayer, the smell of incense from the Buddhist Temple, and walk up 300 steps into a Hindu cave.
Here you can mingle with Hindus, Buddhists, Muslims, Animists, Sikhs, and Christians. Not only is it religiously diverse, but is an ethnic melting pot as well.
In our business alone, we have had employees from Sudan, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Malaysia, Afghanistan, and Somalia. At the international school and church, there are students from Syria, Myanmar, Iran, Korea, and many others! Due to the diverse nature of the people, the teams in the country have also taken many different avenues of ministry. This includes: teaching, studying, BAM, sports/fitness classes, board games, and outreach to refugees/trafficked people.
The only main requirements in coming is that you are flexible and willing to eat – often! Eating is one of the main ways to meet people and begin to share life together. Can’t choose where to go in the world or what language/religion/people to focus on? Don’t! Come and meet them all.
The missionary will need to raise funds to join this ministry
